Directing the flow of energy
Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese martial art. It combines the philosophy of Tai Chi (the primordial principle of all existence, from the infinitely small to the boundless vast) with the knowledge of TCM and Daoist alchemy (Qigong). Because Tai Chi Chuan relies primarily on the body’s own energy rather than mere muscular strength, it is classified in China as an internal martial art.

Through Tai Chi Chuan, practitioners learn to further promote and consciously direct the flow of energy in the meridians. The sequences of movements are suitable both for improving one’s health and for acquiring martial arts skills. Regular training refines coordination and motor skills, supports essential bodily functions and brings body, mind and soul into harmony.
